They can’t go away for longer than afew weeks as their group quickly starts disintegrating. Why isthat exactly ? If you look at Network Marketing in general thereis a 90% drop out rate in the first 6 to 12 months. In otherwords, if you sponser 10 people today, then in 1 years time onlyone of them will still be in the business, and probably won’t evenbe working that hard.
Now at the beginning it isn’t that much of a problem. If you have10 people in your business, then as long as you recruit 9 or morepeople over the next year then your group grows and you’re on yourway. But look at what happens once you get to say 100 people. Allof a sudden you need to add another 90 people just to stay whereyou are ! At 500 people it rises to 450 ! And thats just to staywhere you are, never mind growing you business further. So you seewhat happens if your upline goes on holiday for just 3 months to”live the dream” of network marketers ? They come back and findtheir group nearly 25% smaller than when they left, which in mostleadership compensation plans can easily mean their monthly incomecheque is halved. Was that 3 months holiday really worth it ?

You see, if you do everything the correct way, using propermarketing techniques and leaving your warm market alone, then aretention ratio of 65% or more is completely achievable. In fact,I know many leaders in Network Marketing who simply apply thesetechniques and have retention ratios of 85% and above. This hasbeen the approach for over 30 years. No matter how the person isprospected – warm marketing, cold marketing, internet marketing,ads, flyers, business cards, skywriting you name it. Every singleone is told how they are going to make millions in NetworkMarketing and all they need to do is get 2 who get 2 who get 2 andbingo within a few months you’re a millionaire. Now if you don’tapply a 90% DROP OUT RATE !!! Then sure that works. How many ofyou were then asked “Surely you know just two people who’d likeextra money don’t you ?”. It’s a simple question that has only oneanswer. Who doesn’t know 20 people who’d like extra money ??
All in all it sounds like a logical approach doesn’t it. Everyoneneeds extra money so tell them what they want to hear. However ithas ONE major flaw.
Any ideas ?? It sounds too simple, and after that “you know 2people don’t you” your prospect believes he can’t fail and everyonewill join ! No matter how many times you tell your prospect thatit needs hard work he only hears how rich he’s going to be. Why,he only needs 2 and then he’s set. But what happens when his first5 prospects say no ?? This wasn’t expected was it – this was goingto be easy. Maybe the problem is the product or the business, oraliens or something. It can’t be me or my approach – these peoplereally need money. See what the logical conclusion is ? They trya few more people who also say no, because they’ve just heard toomany get rich schemes before, and they know our associate isa sucker for get rich – so they just say no. So our hot newassociate is dissatisfied – and now quits. It wasn’t something forhim. But that’s ok – we’re after product sales not numbers ofreps. . . . . . oppps – he was only using the products to make money. Nomore product orders from him.
WHAT IF THERE WAS A DIFFERENT WAY ?
How about actually NOT MENTIONING the opportunity ? I know youthink I’ve gone mad, but seriously. Go out there and find peoplewho have a need, a want or a desire for your product. Its amazinghow many network marketers are lead to believe that theircompensation plan is the product. You all have legitimate productsthat work and help people! Find product users who love yourproducts.
So lets take this one step further. Imagine you have a productuser who actually likes your products and is using them becausethey are impressed with the product. What would you say if youwere in Wal-Mart and the store manager came up and said “Hi, I cansee you buy our bread a lot. How are you finding it ?. . . . . . . great. Let me ask you a question, if I can show you how to get that greatbread for FREE would that be something that would interest you ?”
Now how many people would say no ? Raise your hands. . . . Come on. . . . . what nobody ?
OK so you see how it works. I’m sure many of us can show this keenproduct user how to show others the product so lets fast forward afew weeks. They found a few other bread lovers and they’re nowearning enough residual that they get their product for free. Isthat the end of the game ? Nope. . . . . you now have several moreproduct users to help. However the person now getting theirproduct for free, is kind of getting the hang of this now. Nowthey have this fantastic bread and for free. How about making someserious money now ? They already know what to do.
For the sceptics out there, lets look at what happens if thingsdon’t go well. Lets say our bread buyer tries to share the productwith friends and family and completely crashes and burns. I’mtalking burning so badly they might just need a doctor. Well, theydon’t get their product for free, but do you think they’re going tostop ordering their favourite bread ? No way !

There is a secret habit used by every millionaire in this world. Though this does almost always apply only to first generation millionaires rather than those who inherited millions. This is great news, especially for us, as we are likely the first in the family with high aspirations.
What is the secret key that every millionaire uses? I have studied millionaires, and there habits for quite a few years. In each case I find time and again that they all do one thing. This secret key is almost always never used by the majority of people. So could this really be a secret key?
Only one person in a hundred will become rich. By this I mean have a 6 figure income, be a billionaire, etc. Though know right now, almost everyone in the US, UK and many developed countries will also be millionaires. You are a millionaire right now! In a lifetime, you would have gone through between $1million and $4million. This is amazing figures. However, still we have the question what is the difference?
The secret key I have found is goal setting. Every millionaire set goals in life. They literally set a goal to become a millionaire, achieve something great, and leave a positive footprint on this Earth. However, most people don’t do this. In looking at people who have got into the top 1% you find that they all set goals.
Most people don’t set goals however. The fact is that most will have New Year resolutions, and in the first few weeks of the New Year, they totally forget about it. It then becomes a habit of setting resolutions each year, and not seeing them materialize. A point to remember is that the top 1% set goals each and every day, not once per year. What is more is that they measure it often. They may set a goal once, and work till they achieve it, however, they will look at that goal often and consider if they are getting closer.
What this brings us to is a conclusion that most people set goals, however, so few actually do it consciously. This means going to a park, meditating, being with yourself and considering a worthy goal. And once that goal has been decided or set, and then it is time to act upon that goal.
Now your only thought is if your actions will take you towards or away from the goal. We leave formal schooling and then either get a job or get more education then get a job. Today we are seeing younger millionaires simply because people are realizing from a younger age that goal setting is essential, and that it has to be a conscious decision.
